There is something new to discover at the Butterfly House all year round. From Morpho Mardi Gras in Febrauary and March, to the dazzling Firefly Festival in June, to meeting the big man himself at Supper with Santa in December - there is sure to be an exciting event going on at the Butterfly House.

The 8,000 square foot Conservatory housing nearly 2,000 butterflies year round is the heart of the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. This climate controlled space is where the "miracle of metamorphosis" takes places every day.
Our Native Butterfly Garden is full of host plants for caterpillars and nectar sources for butterflies. This is also where special events such as weddings and private rentals are held. The Exhibit Hall has on display some of our exotic invertebrates from around the world.
