Angel Tree Grove

Unveiled in 2023 to celebrate the Butterfly House's 25th anniversary,  Angel Tree Grove incorporates native pollinator plants, including milkweed for monarch butterflies. The sculpture, "Heavenly Connection: Young Woman with Cherub," was donated by the Rob Kilo family. The pathway includes actual trunk slices from the white oak tree that grew around the sculpture.

Angel Tree Grove is registered as a 'Monarch Waystation' to reinforce the need to sustain monarch butterflies by providing milkweed, nectar sources, and nearby shelter. In addition, it is registered and recognized as a Certified Wildlife Habitat by the National Wildlife Federation. This newly renovated section in our outdoor Native Garden will help the Butterfly House continue to provide community gardens that increase awareness of the natural habitat in which butterflies thrive.
