Join us during extended evening hours on Thursday, June 27 for activities designed to educate, raise awareness, and provide a safe, inclusive space for our LGBTQIA community. 

  • Enjoy live music by saxophonist Rhoda G. and singer/songwriter Po Mia.
  • Engage with the Garden's Therapeutic Horticulture team. 
  • Participate in interactive activities with items from nature.
  • Join a collective community project focused on color poetry. 
  • Sip a specialty cocktail (ages 21 and up).
  • Meet representatives from the Human Rights Campaign. 
Extended evening hours: 5–8 p.m. (last entry at 7:30 p.m.)
Take a sunset stroll through the Garden and enjoy seasonal blooms in the evening hours. Sit down to dinner on the patio at Sassafras Restaurant or grab a drink and a bite to-go from Sassafras Cafe. The restaurant will take orders until 6:30 p.m., and the cafe will be open until 8 p.m. The Garden Gate Shop will remain open for your shopping needs. 

All indoor conservatories, including the Climatron, will be open during evening hours on Thursdays.  

The Doris I. Schnucks Children’s Garden remains open until 7 p.m. Children’s Garden entry will be included with general admission tickets from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays starting April 4.
