Scout programs available at the Missouri Botanical Garden are now available at Shaw Nature Reserve as well! To request a program at Shaw Nature Reserve, please add a note in the "Additional Information" section on the Scout Experience Request Form to indicate that you would like to schedule the program at the Nature Reserve.
Shaw Nature Reserve, in Gray Summit, Missouri, offers 2,400 acres and 19 miles of trails to explore. With prairie, woodlands, wetlands, and glades, the Nature Reserve provides an ideal outdoor classroom for many scout programs.

The Dana Brown Overnight Center (DBOC) at Shaw Nature Reserve provides an ideal setting for scout groups seeking to connect with the natural world. The DBOC retreat facility is a cluster of historic log and post-beam structures dating back to the 1800s. Overnight reservations include access to a meeting building with a full kitchen, shower house and the appropriate number of cabins to comfortably meet your group's needs. Each cabin is climate controlled with sleeping quarters and one restroom. The overnight facilities at DBOC can handle group sizes from 10–60 individuals.
