After welcoming its 1 millionth visitor last year, the Whitaker Music Festival returns to the Missouri Botanical Garden offering a 10-week lineup of free Wednesday evening concerts.

To celebrate spring, the Missouri Botanical Garden is encouraging everyone to get outdoors at the Garden, Butterfly House, and Shaw Nature Reserve at its annual “Meet Me Outdoors in St. Louis” event. This year, Meet Me Outdoors is expanding to the entire month of April, enabling visitors to experience adventurous outdoor fun at all three sites, take home native plants, and challenge themselves to get more connected with our region’s outdoor gems.  

As the snow melts away and we welcome warm weather in the St. Louis area, all three of the Missouri Botanical Garden’s sites will be abuzz with activity. Check out the spring happenings at the Garden, Shaw Nature Reserve, and Butterfly House.

Warm up in the tropical conservatory of the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House this winter with fun, themed events. The Butterfly House, where the conservatory is kept at a toasty 85 degrees every day, is the perfect place for a winter outing. Plus, we have several special events in store for the colder months!

The St. Louis Green Business Challenge, a program of the Missouri Botanical Garden, has just completed the ninth year of work with companies across the bi-state region to advance sustainability as a business solution. At an awards celebration held Friday, December 7 at Innovation Hall in the Cortex Innovation District, 55 businesses and local government entities were recognized for their work this year to integrate sustainable policies and practices into their operations.
