(GRAY SUMMIT) - This weekend at the 15th Annual Art Show, Shaw Nature Reserve will be showcasing the work of over 20 local artists whose work captures the beauty of nature.
Each year, the Nature Reserve invites local artists to display and sell their nature-inspired artwork at the rustic log cabins of the Dana Brown Overnight Center tucked away in the Nature Reserve’s colorful, cozy woodland.
This year, the Art Show will feature 25 local artists whose work highlights the beauty and complexity of nature through a variety of mediums including ceramic, wood and metal sculpture, painting, folk art, photography, jewelry, basketry, fibers and more.
This unique extension of St. Louis’ art scene offers an opportunity to explore local talent while enjoying the natural beauty on display at the Nature Reserve.
Guests are invited to stay and explore the trails of the Nature Reserve before and after attending the Art Show. Advance tickets are suggested and can be purchased at shawnature.org. Admission will be based on vehicle instead of per person, so carpooling is encouraged.
Shoppers can enjoy fresh coffee, cider and other treats from Stacked Coffeehouse while they browse the artwork.
