(ST. LOUIS) - For the first time since 2019, the Green Living Festival is making a full return to the Missouri Botanical Garden with more green living exhibitors, sustainable vendors and interactive workshops. Visitors can learn new ways to make their lives more sustainable and create healthier environments while enjoying live music, a free outdoor yoga class, a special tour of the Garden, kid-friendly activities and more throughout the day.

The Garden's Sustainability Division is hosting this signature event exclusively at the Garden for the first time in four years, after switching to an online format during the COVID-19 pandemic and hosting pop-up-style events around St. Louis in 2022 and 2023.

"We are so excited to fully bring the Green Living Festival back home to the Garden for the first time since 2019,” says Glenda Abney, Vice President of Sustainability at the Missouri Botanical Garden. “The Green Living Festival embodies the Garden's mission of protecting plants by inviting the public to discover ways they can take action in their own lives to create a greener, healthier environment and community. We want to make green living less intimidating by showing how simple changes can have a big impact and give people the confidence and resources to implement these changes."

Throughout the day on June 1, guests can talk with local experts about how to make their lifestyle, workplace, community and residence greener. Through free workshops and demonstrations, guests can learn how small choices can create clean air, water and soil for plants, people and the planet to thrive.

This festival is included in Garden admission and is free for St. Louis City and County residents before Noon. For more information, visit mobot.org/greenlivingfest.
