Chemical Action and Usages: The following products are post emergence herbicides that are composed of natural ingredients or non synthetic components. Some are OMRI® (Organic Material Review Institute) certified as indicated behind the product name. Some may be available locally while others may need to be ordered from companies that specialize in natural products for home, lawn and garden. The ingredients are listed for each separate product. This listing does not infer the effectiveness or indorse the product but is merely presented to give a listing of some of the formulations available to those who prefer a natural or non synthetic product.

These products are contact herbicides, therefore only plants directly contacted by the spray will be killed. Control is best on young, maturing, annual weeds and grasses. Several applications may be necessary to control perennial weeds and/or weeds and grasses that are more mature.

Cautions/Instructions: Read the label carefully of the brand and formulation you have selected. Apply the product according to the directions on the label. Since these products are non-selective, contact herbicides, avoid over spraying of desirable plants.

Toxicity: These products can be harmful if absorbed through the skin and may cause moderate eye irritation. These products may be harmful to aquatic invertebrates, so do not apply directly to bodies of water or areas containing standing water.
