Garden Gallop: Wellness in Motion

Advance registration is closed. A limited number of walk-up tickets will be available on the day of Garden Gallop.

Join the Young Friends of the Garden for the annual Garden Gallop: Wellness in Motion Fun Run presented by Graybar.

Participants can run or walk from two routes (approximately 5 kilometers or approximately 1 mile long) through the Garden’s spring blooms. Post-run, participants can enjoy on-site yoga with Brick City Yoga, a hands-on wellness activity with the Garden’s therapeutic horticulture, and a light breakfast provided by Kaldi's Coffee.

Event registration includes a commemorative t-shirt. Registration must be completed by April 8 to guarantee the requested shirt size.

Due to the higher-than-anticipated number of registrations, t-shirts for registrants signing up on or after April 30 will not be available for pickup on the day of Garden Gallop. These t-shirts will be available for pick-up in mid-May. 

Garden Gallop proceeds benefit the Garden’s Outdoor Youth Corps education and workforce development program.

          Check-in and t-shirt pick-up
          Begin your run/walk any time before 8:30 a.m.
          Yoga mat check Light Breakfast available

     7:30–9:30 a.m.
          Hands-on wellness activity with Therapeutic Horticulture

     8–8:30 a.m.
          Yoga Session 1

     9 a.m.
          All running must end
          Breakfast ends

     9–9:30 a.m.
          Yoga Session 2

This is not a timed run, participants are welcome to run or walk at their own pace. Participants can start their Fun Run anytime between 7 and 8:30 a.m.; all running must stop at 9 a.m. when the Garden opens to the general public.

Due to the narrowness of our paths, only event participants will be allowed on the Garden grounds during this event. Strollers are welcome, children two and under are free of charge.

Garden Gallop is a rain-or-shine event. In the event of severe weather, the start time may be delayed, or Garden Gallop may be canceled.
