The Garden’s living collections include rare and endangered plants from across the planet. Garden horticulturists and scientists care for and study these plants. We track how they are affected by climate change, sustainably harvest seeds and cuttings for propagation, and share data and research with botanical scientists across the world. Classes and activities help us engage visitors of all ages with the wonders and challenges of the natural world.

Over 150 years of plant science, conservation, and education has made the Garden a global leader and mentor in these fields. Our beautiful display gardens connect our community to the Garden’s global work and our historic mission.

This Giving Tuesday, make the Garden’s living collections a part of your holiday list with a special gift to the Missouri Botanical Garden.
