In accordance with many corporate-giving guidelines, members and donors cannot receive any tangible benefits as a result of the match of their gift. Therefore, as of August 1, 2019, the Garden has adopted the policy that matching gift funds will be considered a donation only and can no longer be used to partially fund a membership. In other words, even if you plan to apply for a matching gift—and we certainly hope that you do—you must pay for your membership in its entirety in order to receive tangible benefits.
To find out whether your employer offers a matching gift program, use the tool below or check with your human resources department. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift, or complete your company’s online request process.

NOTE: Corporate matching gifts are handled differently by each company. For example, not all companies match at a $1-to-$1 rate. Some companies do not match membership donations but will match other gifts. Many companies are now utilizing online matching gift forms, but some require a printed paper form.
The Garden may not request matching gifts on your behalf. To ensure the best member service, the Garden recommends you contact your Human Resources department to inquire about your company's procedures and completing your portion of the matching gift form.
