Join us at the Stephen and Peter Sachs Museum on for special evening presentations by Dail Chambers and Megan Singleton on their work featured in the current exhibition, Kernels of Culture: Maize Around the World. Dail Chambers is a visual artist, creative consultant and grower whose urban farm Coahama Orchards in North St. Louis is dedicated to the cross-cultural heritage of Native and African people. Megan Singleton is a practicing artist and educator in St. Louis whose ecology-based work combines hand papermaking, sculpture, and installation and her series TRANSPOSABLE ELEMENTS explores the intersection of maize botany, genetics, and fiber.
