An Evening of Jazz with Mardra Thomas, Reggie Thomas, and Rick Haydon during Extended Evening Hours

Jazz vocalist Mardra Thomas, pianist Reggie Thomas, and guitarist Rick Haydon return to the Garden for an evening of jazz on the Spink Pavilion patio during extended evening hours (5–8 p.m.; last entry at 7:30 p.m.). Included with Garden admission.


Mardra has been seen in theater performances all over and previously has been featured in the St. Louis area at the Garden’s Whitaker Music Festival, Jazz St. Louis, in the Sheldon’s Jazz Story, and with big bands and ensembles across the county.

Extended Evening Hours
Take a sunset stroll through the Garden and enjoy seasonal blooms in the evening hours. Sit down to dinner on the patio at Sassafras Restaurant (taking orders until 6:30 p.m.) or grab a drink and a bite to-go from the Bellwether Café (open until 8 p.m.). The Garden Gate Shop remains open until 8 p.m. for your shopping needs. 

All indoor conservatories, including the Climatron, open during evening hours on Thursdays. Doris I. Schnucks Children’s Garden remains open until 7 p.m. Children’s Garden entry included with general admission tickets from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursdays.
